Fischbrötchen at Fischmarkt
The Hamburg fish sandwich (Fischbrötchen) is a local institution. The Sunday Fischmarkt at Landungsbrücken (open from 5am) is the best place to eat one.

HafenCity and Speicherstadt have several excellent speciality coffee roasters. Elbgold and The Barn (visiting roaster pop-ups) are particularly good.
